Mottled Duskywing (Erynnis martialis)

Member of Family: Hesperiidae

French common name: Hespérie tachetée

This butterfly is becoming increasingly rare. Several known colonies in Ontario have disappeared, and it has not been reported in Quebec for many years. It may now be extirpated there.
